Here at Gilliland Academy we pride ourselves of encouraging our students to set and achieve goals. One of the ways we do this is by our merit badge system where we give students the opportunity to get better at a specific technique or skill. We test the student in class and then they earn a badge to sew onto their uniform. Our merit badge system is a really good way of teaching children goal setting and achievement.
